Do No Harm is one of the best books today for Medics, Medical Scientists, and wannabe Medicians. Not only is it a lovely contemporary read (with plenty of profanity), but it covers many fascinating parts of the world of healthcare: from Nigerian Medicine, to a National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) meeting, and even some legal aspects, all written from Neurosurgeon Henry Marsh’s unique perspective within a transitioning NHS in the last 20 years.
